The D-Day Squadron is proud to present the 2024 LegacyTour, an exceptional initiative to commemorate both the 80thanniversary of D-Day in Normandy and the 75th anniversary ofthe Berlin Airlift by retracing the historic “Blue Spruce Route”across the Northern Atlantic with a feet of WWII-era aircraft. This route refers to the ferry and refueling navigational pathfrom North America to Europe that was leveraged during thewar. The signifcant undertaking aims to honor the courageand sacrifce of the Greatest Generation, promoting the enduring legacy of freedom and democracy they fought for.
