Site Disclosure, Policies and Terms

1. REFUND AND RETURNS

 

Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in new, unused condition or in the same condition that you received it if the item is used. Original packaging is required along with supporting documentation that would have been included at time of purchase. Perishable goods such as newspapers or magazines cannot be returned and Sale Items that can be returned will only be refunded in an amount equal to or less than the value of the sale price. Receipt or proof of purchase is required to begin the Return Process

 

Once the returned item is received, it will be inspected. An email will be sent within 72-hours to notify the customer of approval or denial of the returned item. Refunds on approved returns will be timely processed. Credit will be applied to a credit card or the original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

 

Late or Missing Refund

The typical return process is generally completed all within 14 days, however customers are encouraged to allow for 30-days to complete the entire process. In addition to shipping dependencies and time to inspect the product before acceptance, sometimes there are delays in posting refunds which are determined by financial institutions. We have little control in all these circumstances in the timeliness of each task.

2. EXCHANGE

 

Only items that are defective or damaged may be exchanged for a like item. If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you. If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.

3. RETURN SHIPMENT RESPONSIBILITY

 

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary. If you are returning more expensive items, consider tracking and insurance. We don’t guarantee any return shipments. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

4. MEMBERSHIP SUBSCRIPTION

 

One Year (365 Day) Term

Subscription Terms begins as soon as payment is processed. The duration of most memberships is 365 days or one calendar year. Members will be charged, in one lump sum, at the annual rate stated at the time of purchase. Subscription's will automatically renew every year until cancellation. Renewal will take place on the member's enrollment anniversary date, when a valid credit card is on file for the account.

Renewal Pre-Process Notification

Approx 30-days prior to expiration, an email will be sent to the member providing notice of the end of membership term and upcoming automatic charge. A 2nd notification will be emailed approx 10-days prior to expiration as well.

​

Membership Suspension

If your primary payment method fails, and you fail to provide payment, we may suspend your subscription.

 

Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription by contacting the membership coordinator. If you cancel within 7 days of your initial membership order, you will be fully refunded. Should you cancel after seven calendar days, your payment is non-refundable and your service will continue until the end of the full one year term.

5. AUTHORIZATION TO PROCESS

​

Member's authorize the administrator's of the DC3society.org and DDaySquadron.org website to process their credit card for merchandise purchase and membership dues: initial and reoccuring. The annual automatically charge your payment method every year until you cancel.

​

For European Economic Area customers, your bank may require you to authenticate your initial purchase using a password, a one-time code sent to your mobile number, or biometric recognition. When you authenticate, you also authorize us to charge your payment method for your additional purchases without providing us further payment information or other instructions (i.e., we will initiate future payments independently). Such additional purchases may occur when we automatically charge your payment method in connection with a recurring subscription or when you add or change licenses or products.

6. MEMBER PROFILE CHANGES

Throughout the entire term of membership, the member may at any time, make changes to their account profile. Displayed name, contact information (physical mailing address, telephone and email), billing and subscription detail (credit card changes, billing address information, and automatic renewal processing).

Access to Account Profile

  1. Members must be logged into the dc3society.org website.

  2. Changes can than be made to the Account's Billing Profile.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: The Billing Profile hyperlink above will not work unless the member is logged in. When successfully logged into the DC3Society.org / ddaysquadron.org website as a member, a hyperlink called 'Account' will be visible in the footer section of every page site wide. Members may also optionally reach out to the membership coordinator by sending an email. The member coordinator will than schedule an appropriate time to talk over the telephone to assist the member in making any appropriate change.

7. DATA RETENTION AND PRIVACY

  • For the performance of a contract. To fulfill and satisfy merchandise you have purchased we have to share your information with third-party company's. We use Authorize.net and Paypal for financial transactions, Printiful and Printify for merchandise fulfillment.

  • With Service Providers. We may share your personal information with Service Providers to monitor and analyze the use of our website.

We do have a young historian’s program, however our website by intent does not address directly anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from anyone under the age of 13 without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers.
